Local 765 was Chartered in 1955 and serves the Nation’s Capital, including Kingston and surrounding areas.  We are a combined local representing more than 800 Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers as well as Overhead door Mechanics.

Our work is evident throughout our territory in the buildings, factories, and infrastructure. We work in Ottawa’s downtown core and the parliament buildings, Hydro-electric projects, DND projects, windmills, steel mills and Ottawa’s LRT just to name a few.

Local 765 is a Training Delivery Agent for the Ministry of Labor, Training and Skills Development. As such we teach the Apprenticeship for both 452A and 420A Red Seal programs (reinforcing and structural Ironworker).
