International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers, Local 765 (“Local 765”) is committed to safeguarding the privacy and security of the information we collect. This statement explains the policies we follow with respect to the handling of customer/member information collected by the Local 765 payment portal as well as certain other information provided by members to us..

Information We Collect
Local 765 collects information from you when you register on our site and when you make a duies payment through our site.

Making on On-Line Dues Payment Through Our Portal
On line dues payment is an option available through our members’ only section of our webpage.  Access to that webpage area requires that you provide your member number and name which is information which is information you provide and that we collect from you with your consent.

In order to make an online dues payment you will be asked to enter your member number, name, e-mail address, birth date, gender, password and credit card information. We only know who you are if you choose to provide your limited personal information to us directly.

A member who makes a payment using a credit or debit card is required to provide Local 765 with certain Cardholder Data in order to make the payment, including the member's name and credit card number. Local 765’s portal will transmit certain parts of this information to Chase Paymentech for the purpose of processing the transaction. During the course of providing processing services we may disclose such Cardholder Data to banks, processors, credit and debit card organizations and associations, and other financial institutions that are involved in the course of effecting the transaction represented by the Cardholder Data.

We will not disclose Cardholder Data to any third party, except to facilitate and complete transactions for the payment of monthly dues or to comply with federal and provincial law and local laws or the rules and regulations of the respective card organizations or other payment entities (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, NACHA, etc.).

We do not use the member dues payment portal for any purpose other than the payment of member dues.  We do not and will not sell or share your personal information submitted through the payment portal with any third party not required for the processing of the payment.  We do not store the credit card information collected through the payment portal- it is collected only for the purpose of completing each transaction and transmitted as necessary to card, payment and banking entities to process the transaction without being retained by Local 765.  

Obviously, we do collect and record and transmit to our affiliated unions, including the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers, records of the membership and dues payment history of our membership regardless of the manner of dues payment as we have always done.

Your Inquiries
When you complete and submit other forms on our website, send us an e-mail, send us a fax, or contact us by telephone to solicit information about our services or the company in general, Local 765 may store the inquiries and their contents. Information you submit via such an inquiry is collected only with your knowledge and active participation and may be used by Local 765 to respond to your inquiries, to contact you, to inform you of services of Local 765 or its partners that may be of use to you, and for similar purposes relating to your union membership. Information collected during the course of such an inquiry will not be sold or otherwise disclosed to any third party; provided that such information may be shared internally with our affiliated entities for the purposes of administering a trade union  and its membership services.

Every time you visit a website, some information is automatically collected from you. For example, this information may include some or all of the following items: your computer’s Internet protocol (IP) address and/or domain; type and version of Internet browser software and operating system you use; date, time, and duration of your Website access; specific pages, buttons, images, videos, links, or forms that you access while visiting the Website; and demographic information concerning the country of origin of your computer and the language(s) used by it.

Protection of Cardholder Data and Customer Data
Chase Paymentech, which processes the transactions of Local 765 has implemented various measures, including appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards, designed to ensure the security and confidentiality of Cardholder Data and Customer Data, protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of such information, and protect against unauthorized access to or use of such information. Such measures may include, among others, encryption, physical access security and other appropriate technologies. Chase Paymentech continually reviews and enhances its security systems, as necessary. Chase Paymentech is subject to the detailed rules and regulations of the various credit and debit card organizations and networks (i.e. VISA, MasterCard, American Express, NYCE, Star, etc.), relating to the security and safeguarding of Cardholder Data, including, but not limited to, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards ("PCI"), VISA Inc.'s Cardholder Information Security Program ("CISP") and MasterCard International's Site Data Protection Program ("SDP"). Chase Paymentech endeavors to comply with all such rules at all times. Pursuant to such rules and regulations, Chase Paymentech is required to undergo periodic third-party assessments and periodic network scans to ensure that, among other things, Chase Paymentech has installed and maintains a firewall configuration to protect data; does not use vendor-supplied defaults for system passwords and other security parameters; protects stored data; encrypts transmission of Cardholder Data and sensitive information across public networks; uses and regularly updates antivirus software; develops and maintains secure systems and applications; restricts access to data to those with a business need-to-know; tracks and monitors all access to network resources and Cardholder Data; regularly tests security systems and processes; assigns a unique ID to each person with computer access; restricts physical access to Cardholder Data; and maintains a policy that addresses information security. Modifications to Privacy Statement
We continue to review our policies and procedures to assure that they are effective in meeting our commitments including to our members’ privacy. Local 765 reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement without notice at any time and from time to time, including as needed to comply with the rules and regulations of the various debit and credit card organizations, or to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
